Crowning moments captured at coronation

On the early evening of February 7, Snow Days coronation was held at the school. Emcees Kira Ollila and Travis Lollar took care of introductions of attendants and seniors vying for the distinction of king and queen. Above, seated in front are crown bearers Jamila Mensinger and Alex Schmitz, Queen Marissa Willis and King Christian Siedschlaw. Back row includes: Freshman attendants Meghan Pugsley and Anthony Kern, junior attendants Sara Bain-Richter and Jacob Engebretson, seniors candidates Ariana Sandberg and Tyler Suhl, senior candidates Colton Moyer and Brittany Schmitz, senior candidates Danny Brown and Meghan Sly, sophomore attendants Daniel Fisher and Kylie Uselman. At center, Queen Marissa Willis and King Christian Seidschlaw graced the stage following coronation wearing their crowns while posing for poised cameras. Marissa’s parents are Mike and Melissa Willis of Wadena and Christian’s parents are Tom and Tara Erckenbrack of Verndale. Students took part in dress up days throughout the week which included: Throwback Day, Out of the Box Day, Fairytale Day, Multiplicity and School Spirit Day. They also played volleyball on Friday to end the week.
